For as much rancor and debate as the Second Amendment has caused over the years, few realized the Supreme Court had never once in its history heard a case which asked them to define its meaning.
Last Thursday, the court ruled in District of Columbia et al.

The presumptive Democratic nominee, Sen. Barack Obama, came out in support of a House bill this week that would grant immunity to telecommunications companies that participated in warrantless wiretaps. This is a poor decision and a step in the wrong direction for a candidate who suggests that he is representative of a change in government.

I wasn't used to being charged for water. I went to Germany and experienced for the first time being charged for water in a restaurant. In fact, water cost more than the wine and beer. I had heard the rumors, but wasn't sure what to think about it.
All over the Edwardsville area water is free: at Applebee's, 54th Street Bar & Grill, St.

Finally, Iowa has joined the ranks. This day could not have come soon enough for me.
Last fall, I had my first truly enjoyable pub experience. The music was fantastic, the company entertaining and the brew a treasure for the palate.
And it wasn't even my 21st birthday.
