Obama, McCain win Missouri primaries

After being counted out by several major news outlets, Sen. Barack Obama has pulled off a come-from-behind victory.

With 99 percent of precincts reporting, the Illinois senator has clinched Missouri in a comeback win. After several news outlets, including Reuters and The Associated Press, called the election in favor of Sen. Hillary Clinton, Obama sits atop the Democratic standings in Missouri with 49.1 percent of the vote. Clinton currently has 48.1 percent of the vote.

Republican presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain took Missouri's Republican voters, garnering 32.9 percent of the vote. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee stands second with 31.6 percent.

Clinton won Adair County, taking 50 percent (1,284 votes) of the Democratic vote to Obama's 47 percent (1,216 votes), and Huckabee took 38 percent (735 votes) - the majority of Adair County Republicans' votes. McCain obtained 558 votes, good for 29 percent of the county.
